Bratislava – Historical Development of the City

For the Bratislava City Museum, we created a detailed physical model of 15th-century Bratislava as part of a new exhibition. An animation is projected onto the model, presenting the historical development of the city, the transformations of its fortifications, and less obvious connections between medieval walls and today’s street layout. The creation of the installation was a complex process involving parallel content development, selection of suitable technologies, and precise production of the architectural model. The result is a spatial and comprehensible way to introduce the city’s history to visitors through a combination of a physical object and a digital layer.
