People of Lancaster, an author-driven interactive videomapping was created for the festival Light Up Lancaster in northern england. We have been researching for 25 extraordinary life stories of locals to bring them to life through animation and acting scenes. The audience at Downtown Square, where the installation took place, could interact with the projection by pressing windows on a control panel in the shape of a model house. Our purpose was to intrigue and engage audiences of different generations and to make a site specific installation representing this ancient city.
